The Celtics have been working on rebuilding themselves into the perennial championship contenders they used to be. It appears that, while they work to put the best team of players together on the court, they're also looking to give those players a reason to come to town and work at rebuilding that image.

Part of Boston's plan to attract top level talent this off season and in future ones, might be their new plans to upgrade their training facilities.

The team announced today that they will soon start construction on a brand new "world-class practice and training facility."

The project, which will put the C's new practice space in the Boston Landing area is set to break ground in the Fall of 2016 and be completed by the Spring of 2018.

With Elkus Manfredi Architects set to put forth the design and John Moriarty & Associates constructing the building, Boston seems ready to take their training abilities to the next level.
