After finishing last season off with some success, and snagging a playoff spot at 40-42 overall, the Boston Celtics are set to open up their 2015-16 campaign tonight, as they play host to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Boston, who looked like a club a few years away from making a postseason run at the start of last year, put together a strong stretch in the second half and got a taste of the playoffs.

This season, they look poised to build off of last year's finish and improve their standing in the already weak eastern conference.

Opening up the season against Philadelphia, an organization that has been in disarray for the past few years now, gives the C's a chance to start this new season off on the right foot.

It'll be interesting to see how Boston comes out of the gate and what head coach Brad Stevens' starting lineup looks like, as he has tinkered with many different grouping throughout the preseason.

One potential starting unit could be as follows:

PG- Marcus Smart

SG- Avery Bradley

SF- Jae Crowder

PF- David Lee

C- Tyler Zeller

Regardless of how it shapes out with the starting lineup, look for all of those guys to get opportunities tonight. Also look for the team's leading scorer Isaiah Thomas and guards Terry Rozier and Evan Turner to get plenty of opportunities. Big men Amir Johnson, Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger should also have a big say in tonight's action as well.
