An emotional game for the Boston Celtics, as they take the floor in the Playoffs after the events Friday catching the Boston Marathon bombers.

Before the game began in New York City, Paul Pierce and Carmelo Anthony addressed the crowd at Madison Square Garden, and after that it was all business. The Celtics were able to hang in with the higher seeded Knicks for three quarters, going on an 11-1 run at one point, but the Knicks held the Celtics to just eight points in the fourth quarter.

Jeff Green led the Celtics with 26 points, but New York's Carmelo Anthony put up 36 points and grabbed six rebounds the help the Knicks to victory. Paul Pierce had 21 points in the loss, and Avery Bradley put up 15. JR Smith was the next biggest scorer for NY, with 15 points.
