The Boston Celtics were on a three game win streak heading into the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, but the Nets proved to be too much for the Rondo-less Celtics. It was a close game on Thursday night, but the Celtics came up just short to the Brooklyn Nets. Both Brook Lopez and Deron Williams had 24 points for the Nets. Joe Johnson added 19 points for Brooklyn.

The C's were led by Paul Pierce, who knocked down 22 points. Kevin Garnett had 14, and Courtney Lee added 13 points from the Boston Bench. The defense wasn't really working well for the Celtics, and they were out rebounded by the Nets. Currently the Celtics are 30th in rebounds in the NBA.

Boston has Friday night off, and will be back home against Toronto on Saturday.
