With their 107-100 win over the Los Angeles Lakers last night, the Boston Celtics have officially clinched a spot in the postseason.

Boston also has just a half game buffer on both the fifth seeded Miami Heat and sixth seeded Charlotte Hornets, so their final standing and playoff future is still up in the air.

The C's will have their destiny in their own hands, however, as they will start their final five game stretch of the season with two home games against the New Orleans Pelicans and Milwaukee Bucks, who are both towards the bottom of their respective conferences.

So, if the C's don't lock up the third seed and get the most favorable match up possible heading into the playoffs, they'll really have no one to blame but themselves.

For now though, let's just celebrate the fact that we'll see playoff basketball in beantown again this season.
