The Boston Celtics capped off their regular season slate tonight with a 98-88, comeback win against the Miami Heat at the TD Garden.

In winning their season finale, the C's finished the regular season with a record of 48-34. While the Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets all finished the season with the same record as Boston, both Miami, the third seed, and Atlanta, the fourth seed, slotted in ahead of the C's in the playoff standings.

After dropping the season series to both Atlanta and Miami, Boston will have to take their show on the road to start the postseason.

That road trip will officially be to Atlanta, where the C's have not looked good this season. The Hawks steamrolled Boston back in November at the Phillips Arena, 121-97. Atlanta also beat the C's 118-107 last Saturday, in a game that was close in the fourth quarter but ended up spinning out of control for Boston.

Boston will for sure have their work cut out for them in the first round, but there's no reason to think they won't make the series as interesting as possible. After all, these two teams will enter the math up with identical records.
