The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is confident Ebola will be contained in the U.S. even if more cases pop up.

CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden  says Thomas Duncan was symptom-free when he was screened in Liberia and didn't start showing Ebola symptoms until he showed up in Dallas, Texas. He also says about 100 people are being assessed to see if they had contact with Duncan and only a handful of people are being monitored.

Frieden isn't sure how many people actually came into contact with Duncan, but they're casting a wide net to make sure they find everyone. Duncan is hospitalized in Dallas in serious but stable condition. (Metro Networks Inc.)
