The Celtics have been working on rebuilding themselves into the perennial championship contenders they used to be. It appears that, while they work to put the best team of players together on the court, they're also looking to give those players a reason to come to town and work at rebuilding that image.

After an impressive season that showed the potential the young team possesses, the clock struck midnight on the Boston Celtics tonight as they fell to the Atlanta Hawks 104-92, losing the opening round series four games to two.

It went from promising to ugly in the blink of an eye for the Celtics tonight, as they saw their early lead disintegrate into thin air in a 110-83 beating at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks at the Phillips Arena.

There were ups and down all night long, but as the clock showed double zeros, the crowd at the TD Garden erupted with joy as the Celtics knocked off the Atlanta Hawks 104-95 in overtime, to tie their first round playoff series at two games apiece.

Heading into Game 3 of their first round playoff match up with the Atlanta Hawks, the Celtics desperately needed a win. To the joy of the pumped up TD Garden crowd, the C's delivered with a gritty, 111-103 victory.

The Boston Celtics went ice cold from the field in tonight's 89-72 blowout loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The loss now puts the C's in a 0-2 hole in the best of seven series.

As it was reported by ESPN's Chris Forsberg earlier today, it appears the Celtics will be without guard Avery Bradley for the remainder of their opening round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks.

After falling behind early in the first half, the Celtics battled back, giving the Hawks their best shot, but ultimately fell to Atlanta by one point, 102-101.

The Boston Celtics capped off their regular season slate tonight with a 98-88, comeback win against the Miami Heat at the TD Garden.
