After dealing their 4th round pick, number 114 overall, to the Detroit Lions, in exchange for a 2019 third rounder, the New England Patriots finally made their first selection of day three of the 2018 NFL Draft in round five.
What do you know, the New England Patriots made another trade. This time, the team has moved up from the 63rd overall pick to the 56th, linking on a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After trading out of the 43rd overall selection, the first of two second round picks they had heading into the night, the New England Patriots kept on with their wheeling and dealing ways, trading the pick they acquired in the earlier deal, number 51 overall, to the Chicago Bears.
