Voters Approve Casino in Everett, Mass

Voters in Everett have given their approval to a one-point-two billion-dollar casino proposal.

Las Vegas gaming mogul Steve Wynn wants to build a casino on the Mystic River at the site of the old Monsanto plant. A host agreement would pay the city 25-million a year if the casino is chosen by the Mass Gaming Commission for the one license in the Boston area.
