State Police say a part of Route 24 was shut down for a time Friday night after receiving reports of cars being targeted by a suspect with a gun.

Reports came in around 9pm Friday, with police responding to Route 24 in Berkley between exits 10 and 12.

State Police say about five cars had their windows damaged or completely shot out by means of a BB gun.

No arrests have been made, but police say one vehicle was stopped in relation to the incident. Police are still investigating.
