Car Crashes into Chipotle Mexican Grill in Raynham

RAYNHAM - It may be difficult to get your Chipotle fix in Raynham today after a car barreled into the store.

Raynham Police say the 2016 Nissan Sentra crashed into the Chipotle Mexican Grill on New State Highway before 2 A.M. this morning.

The driver, 33-year-old Matthew Moniz of East Taunton, was taken to Morton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Moniz was the sole occupant of the car.

The crash caused extensive damage to the vehicle and the building. Nobody was inside at the time of the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
