Cape Man Charged With Trafficking Heroin

Photo From Wareham Police Dept.[/caption]A Cape Cod Man is under arrest for trafficking heroin.

Wareham and Barnstable detectives stopped a car Wednesday night on Cranberry Highway and arrested 33 year old Carl Koopman.

According to Lt. Kevin Walsh, officers found 55 grams of heroin in Koopman's possession which appeared to be packaged for individual sales. Police say the drugs had a street value of about $4,500.

Koopman was held overnight and arraigned Thursday in Wareham District Court on a charge of Trafficking a Class A Substance.
