Every year at this time we hear in the news about the Black Friday deals going on at major retailers, and along with that news is the story about the people pitching their tents outside of those stores up to a week in advance. That got me to wondering, how can these people do this? Spend a week outside of a store, don't they have jobs? If they are unemployed how can they afford the items they are in line to buy? We opened up the phones on WBSM this morning and one woman said "she has a job and can't sit on line", another caller told us the story of his friend who did sit on line.

He told us about how his friend would work in shifts with his friends, he would sit on line for 8 hours his other friend would sit on line for the next 8 hours and one more buddy would do the third shift.

When the store opened they would all be on line and be the first ones in. I don't know about you but I can not think of anything that I would sit a week on line for, is it really worth all of your time to save a hundred bucks or so? Maybe it's just me, I have no problem with the folks that do it but it's just not for me or anybody I know...
