Cambridge City Manager Robert Healy is asking relatives of Tamerlan Tsarnaev not to request that he be buried in a local cemetery.

Healy issued a statement yesterday asking that relatives of the dead bombing suspect not seek to purchase a plot in the Cambridge cemetery. Healy said burying Tsarnaev in the city cemetery would not be in, quote, "the best interest of peace within the city."

Healy went on to say that the federal government should handle any issues with the burial of Tsarnaev's body.
