Businessman Fernando Garcia Remembered

Family members and friends remembered Fernando Garcia during a memorial service Friday at Bristol Community College in Fall River.

Garcia died earlier this month after a long battle with cancer.

When running his Ford dealership in Fall River, he described himself as "your friend in the business." Those who knew him say he was a friend to many in New Bedford and Fall River.

Businessman Jose Castelo of New Bedford says Fernando always challenged the Portuguese community to do more for people in need. Castelo says he'll be greatly missed.
