The US Attorney's office and US Marshall's Service say they will auction items belonging to convicted mobster James "Whitey" Bulger and his girlfriend, Catherine Greig with all the proceeds going to the victims of Bulger's brutal crimes.

Judge Denise Casper has signed the order for the auction. The auction will take place June 24th through June 26th at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

The items will include items seized from the couple's Santa Monica apartment, plus possessions already in the government's custody.

The auction will be open to the public, and the items will also be available simultaneously through an online auction.

A list of all the auction items will be made available at a later date.
