Like every other team in the league, the Boston Bruins lost a player Wednesday night in the NHL's expansion draft.

The draft, which is used to help fill out the roster of the league's newest expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights, saw the team select 30 players from the other teams around the league.

When it came time for the Knights to select a player from the B's, the team looked toward defense.

The Knights ended up selecting 24-year-old defenseman Colin Miller, who was left unprotected by the team to the dismay of the fan base.
