Brown Declines SouthCoast Debate

The SouthCoast Alliance is holding a senatorial forum next Thursday at UMass Dartmouth.

Both candidates have been invited, but Craig Dutra of the Alliance tells WBSM News only one candidate is showing up.

In a letter to the Alliance, Brown says that he has committed to six debates, the most of any incumbent senator in 16 years and has finalized his debate and candidates forum schedule for the 2012 campaign.

Dutra says plans for the single participant forum are being formulated, but questions will be posed to Elizabeth Warren by the moderator, UMass Dartmouth professor Michael Goodman.
