Break In Arrest

New Bedford Police responded to an alarm early Monday morning to the former Buliding 19 on Hathaway Road. They found 3 men inside the warehouse area who fled on foot. One suspect was apprehended after he fled the building and into a fenced in area with barbed wire surrounding it.

Police arrested 22 year old Daniel Diaz of North Front St. in New Bedford and charged him with breaking and entering in the nightime and carrying a dangerous weapon.

The 2 other suspects escaped. Police say the men gained entry through a window in the rear of the building.
