It was preseason game two, and the Patriots were facing the Philadelphia Eagles. It was a close game before the Eagles offense kicked into high gear.

Tom Brady didn't play in the Pats Monday Night preseason match up against the Philadelphia Eagles. It was nice to see some of the other New England talent show off a bit. Ryan Mallet was the passing leader for the Patriots. Mallet was 10-20 with 105 yards and a touchdown.

Nick Foles led the way for Philly after Michael Vick went down early. Foles was  18-28 with 217 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Vick left the game, but x-rays were negative. The Philadelphia coaching staff elected to not have him come back as a precaution.
