Last Sunday, of course, marked the return of Tom Brady to the New England Patriots. After picking apart the Cleveland Browns' defense en route to a 33-13 victory, the 39-year-old has been rewarded by the same league that tried so hard to sully his name over the past two years.

Returning to the field for the first time since the team's final preseason game, the future Hall-of-Famer dominated the lowly Browns' defense. Brady showed virtually no signs of rust as he led the team on three straight scoring drives to open the game and finished the day with 406 yards on 28 of 40 passing, with three touchdowns.

With fans across the country basking in the glory of a return so sweet Hollywood film writers could have scripted it, the decision couldn't have been hard to select Brady for his 26th such honor.

Expect the Week 5 award to be just one of much more accolades to come the All-Pro's way throughout the season, as he makes up for unjustly lost time and looks to put the league on notice week in and week out.
