It's been 23 years since Jason Robinson was murdered in his social studies classroom at Dartmouth High School. A day that most students will never forget.

Karter K. Reed was 16 years old on April 12,1993 when he and two other teens broke into the old school on Slocum Road armed with knives, bats and billy clubs. Reed stabbed and killed 16-year-old Jason Robinson.

Reed was tried as an adult, charged with second-degree murder, and sentenced to life in prison in 1995. Although sentenced to life, he was eligible for parole after serving 15 years and released in 2008. In an article at SouthcoastToday.com, Curt Brown quotes the State Parole Board, "Mr. Reed is deserving of a second chance to substantiate himself and be a proactive member of society."

On April 26, 2016, Reed's tale will be told through Jean Trounstine's words. The author of "Boy With A Knife: A Story of Murder, Remorse, and a Prisoner's Fight for Justice" shares Reed's side of the story, and his life since that day.

Former Dartmouth High students have honored their late classmate by sharing his school photo on their Facebook pages and wishing peace for his family and friends. Will this book's release make it hard for them to find that peace?
