BOSTON (AP) _ A hazardous materials scare that forced the evacuation of residential buildings near Fenway Park in Boston turned out to be all about fish oil.

The discovery of chemicals in the basement of a convenience store Tuesday prompted a response by firefighters, police and terrorism investigators.

A spokesmen for the fire department said Wednesday that the store owner was letting a friend use the space to experiment with making fish oil supplements, touted for their health benefits.

Investigators found four 55-gallon drums containing acid and hydrogen chloride, as well as liquid-filled bottles and sacks of yeast.

Authorities say there was no criminal intent, although the building did not have permits for the work and the owner may be cited.
