Boston Globe subscribers waited later than usual on Sunday or may not have even gotten yesterday’s edition of the Boston Sunday Globe.

According to WCVB 5, journalists, managers, staff members, and interns hand delivered copies of the Sunday paper in the wake of the Globe’s transition to a new delivery service.

Despite reporters, managers and staffers volunteering to put papers in their own cars to get them delivered, the Globe stated that the new delivery service, ACI Media, is trying to get up to speed with a new staff of 500 carriers who need to learn new routes.

Some areas, however, such as Brookline, were fortunate enough to get their paper on Sunday.

The Globe also stated that subscribers who have not received their paper will be reimbursed for the missed delivery.
