In one of the least surprising moves of the 2012 college football season, the Boston College Eagles will be moving forward to next season without coach Frank Spaziani. Spaziani spent the last 4 years has head coach of Boston College, but after a 2-10 season, he is out. In total, Spaziani spent 16 years with BC, and said in a statement that it is a sad day for him and his family.

Boston College athletic director Brad Bates will be bringing in his first big hire since coming over from Miami to replace Spaziani. The team said that they weren't surprised about the firing, and that they had heard the rumors.
