Everyone in America knows when you visit Massachusetts to "pahk ya cah in Hahvahd yahd" and starting now, state highway digital signs will read other important messages in the Bay State dialect! The idea stah-ted when an employee of the DOT decided to post a flashing sign reading, "Use Ya Blinkah."

After that, motorists started sending in entries with a common theme: the Boston accent! Some read, Check Ya Mirrah," and "If you're driving slowa, move ovah." So the State made this into a contest and winners of Mass DOT's highway safety slogans were revealed.

Each winnah can feel a sense of pride for a weekend on state roads when their entry is flashing to thousands of motorists passing by. Do you have a suggestion for us to post right heya? "Make ya mah proud," and leave us some Boston baked wisdom.
