The Houston/Brown family had been hoping for a miracle, but sources say they have now come to the conclusion that Bobbi Kristina Brown needs to be taken off of life support.

TMZ is reporting that after about a week and a half of agonizing over what to do, the family has realized that there is no hope that the 21-year-old will recover.

Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma since being found unresponsive in her Georgia home bathtub on February 1st. Doctors told the family last week that the lack of oxygen to her brain before being found had caused too much damage to repair and the chances of her waking up were not good. Still the family held out hope through the weekend, praying for a miracle.

Sources say they have now come to the conclusion that there is nothing more to be done and have made the decision to withdraw life support.

In another layer to this story, TMZ is reporting that Whitney Houston's mother Cissy Houston, would like her granddaughter's life support to be withdrawn tomorrow, February 11th, which is the anniversary of Whitney's death.

Though there is no confirmation that this will be when it happens, the NY Post did run a story with the same information today adding that Cissy Houston wanted life support withdrawn on the anniversary to "bond mother and daughter for eternity."

**UPDATE: TMZ is now saying although lawyer for Bobby Brown has issued a statement that this withdrawal of life support on the anniversary of Whitney's death is untrue, other sources within the Brown family continue to tell them that it is happening. The lawyer is presently denying these family members claims.**

There is also a criminal investigation going on at the same time. Police were suspicious of injuries Bobbi Kristina had on her body when she was rushed to the hospital. Her boyfriend (husband?) Nick Gordon is said to be the target of that investigation. He has also reportedly not been to see Bobbi Kristina since she has been at Emory University Hospital.
