Former President Bill Clinton is coming to Massachusetts to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial nominee Martha Coakley.

The campaign announced on Friday that Clinton is scheduled to highlight a rally for Coakley and her running mate, Steve Kerrigan, next Thursday at Clark University in Worcester.

On that same day, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee, is expected to attend a fundraiser in Boston for Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Baker.

Coakley, meanwhile, is expected to get more help from the former first family. The campaign has said that it expects former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is exploring a 2016 presidential bid, to visit Massachusetts before the Nov. 4 election.
