Boston Red Sox' center fielder Mookie Betts has gotten off to a tremendous start in his young MLB career. Compound that fact with the truth that Betts is also a standout bowler and it's hard to see the 23-year-old isn't good at.While that list might be limited, you might be able to add driving a golf cart to it.

Apparently Betts, who was spending some time Valentine's Day morning hanging with his buddy and fellow teammate Travis Shaw, had a bit of an accident when the two hit the links.

According to Betts and Shaws' twitter accounts, Betts' golf cart found its way into a pond on the course.

In an effort to further clarify the situation, in which Betts claimed on twitter he was not actually driving the cart at the time of it's plunge, he said this at JetBlue Park today:

“I left my club on the last hole and I went back to get it,” Betts explained. “Parked on a hill. Thought I pushed the break, but it didn’t break, obviously. I didn’t push it all the way in. I ran to get my club and by the time I turned around it was going in the pond. That’s pretty much it.”

So it appears to be pretty simple for Betts; stick to baseball, sprinkle in a bit of bowling in the off season and he'll be good to go.
