‘Bearded Bandit’ Being Held On $300,000 Bail

The man police say is the so-called “Bearded Bandit” was arraigned Thursday in Taunton District Court on charges of robbing a Seekonk bank. Authorities say 33 year old Justin Worley was arrested Wednesday night at a Motel Six in Seekonk. Police also found a fake beard inside the motel room and a small quanity of drugs. Assistant D-A James McKenna says Worley admitted to wrong-doing at the time of his arrest.

Authorities say Worley is also facing state and federal robbery charges for other bank holdups in Rhode Island and Mass. He entered a not guilty plea on Thursday and was ordered held on $300,000 cash bail.
