This year, the World Cup will be hosted in Brazil, which is also home to one of the best teams in the world.

ftw.usatoday.com reports that some citizens however, like Eron Morais de Melo, are protesting that the World Cup be held in Brazil and that the money they are spending on it could be going to bettering education or feeding the hungry.

Not only does de Melo protest the cup being held in Brazil, he does it in style.

Dressed up in his full Batman attire, de Melo has become one of the faces of the anti-World Cup movement in Brazil. He dresses up as Batman because he claims that Batman represents the struggle against oppression.

But Batman isn't the only one protesting; there are thousands of Brazilians staging protests across the country to prevent the government from spending money on the World Cup.

It'll be interesting to see what happens this week as the World Cup continues!
