Barry Richard – No Sanctuary For Criminal Illegals

Just like we didn't let the nation's population centers, like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Boston and Providence decide the election last week we cannot allow them to determine immigration policy for the entire country either.

Voters last week repudiated the policies of the left which included unchecked and unregulated illegal immigration and sanctuary cities that protect illegals, many of whom have committed heinous crimes against our society.  The people were loud and clear in their mandate to close the southern border and to deport criminal illegal immigrants.  But, that message seems to be lost on the Mayors and police officials in these sanctuary cities who say they will defy federal law requiring them to help to round up these criminal illegals for deportation.

President-elect Trump says federal funds will be withheld from sanctuary cities that do not cooperate with immigration policies concerning criminal illegals and their leaders have very little leverage in this debate.  Sanctuary cities are illegal and put politics ahead of citizens while threatening their safety and wellbeing.

The interests of criminal illegal aliens should never be put ahead of the rights of taxpaying citizens and law-defying politicians should be held accountable for refusing to comply with federal immigration laws.
