Has anyone else reached their saturation point with this election?  After a brutal campaign that lasted many months most people were looking forward to putting the election in the rearview mirror and moving on, but have been unable to do so.

The looney left and the left leaning media won't let that happen. We are treated to nightly news coverage of rallies and riots by those who can't come to grips with the election results.  Politicians and the self-important media "stars" are fueling the dissent  by providing forums for anyone with an axe to grind with the winning side. The vitriol and rhetoric is as bad or worse than before the election.  It has become almost unbearable and most sensible people just want it to all go away.

The incoming Trump Administration pasted a whooping on the liberals, denying the coronation of Hillary Clinton and retaining control of both branches of Congress.  It was a total repudiation of liberalism and the policies of the out-going Obama Administration. Liberalism, at least for now, is out of style.  The losers need to accept that their ideals have been rejected by the people and move on from there.

Change is coming and it will be sweeping.  The Trump people understand that the people want big changes in healthcare, border security and the economy and they are impatient.  Change must be swift or these guys will find themselves swept away just as quickly as they came to be. President-elect Donald Trump has two short years to make real progress or the voters will make changes in the mid-term elections in 2018.

The idiocy must stop now.  Trump won a landslide in the Electoral College and must be given a chance to govern.  The liberals must call off the attack and drop the dangerous and non-productive rhetoric that continues to poison the process.  If they do not and Trump is able to have some success in the first two years it could be a long time before the Democrats recover from this shellacking.

For 240 years this nation has set an example through the  seamless transition of power and must continue that tradition.  It's time to get past the election and move forward.
