Retired Mass. Congressman Barney Frank will be on the UMass Dartmouth campus on Tuesday, April 19 for a 4pm screening of the documentary, "Compared To what?  The Improbable Journey of Barney Frank."

Following the screening, he will take part in a question and answer session with the audience.  Frank will also be lecturing in two political science classes.

Frank served in Congress from 1981 to 2013, and was chairman of the House Financial Services Committee from 2007 to 2011.

While in Congress, Frank's district included New Bedford, Dartmouth and part of Fall River.  He has donated many historical documents and papers to UMass Dartmouth, which established the Congressman Barney Frank Collection at the Claire T. Carney Library.
