Best-Selling Author David Baldacci Talks With Pete And Kasey About ‘The Escape’ And His Career

Best-selling author David Baldacci was a guest on the morning show this week and Kasey said I was like a kid on Christmas morning as this interview approached.

I am a big fan and have read every book Baldacci has written and it was nice to see he's as nice a guy as I had hoped he would be.

The new book is called The Escape and David told us how it came to be. His dad served in the Navy, so David worked hard to make it as realistic to the real military as he could.

In the interview, we learn how David researches a book, how he got his start, the many rejections before he got published and his advice for someone on getting started.
