Pete Braley

Pete was born and raised in the New Bedford area and got interested in radio when he was a teenager. He's been doing the morning show here at WBSM since 1989. He lives in Fairhaven with his wife Priscilla and their 4 children. He's very active in youth sports coaching baseball and softball. He admits to being addicted to the internet but claims it's "research" for the morning show.

Mass General Will Soon Ask More Questions

Massachusetts General Hospital says it will soon start questioning all patients about their alcohol and illegal drug use, no matter what their reason for visiting. The program is scheduled to start this fall and is part of a broader plan to improve addiction treatment at the Boston hospital and its community health centers

Authorities say 36 people were transported to the hospital and as many as 50 others were treated  or evaluated at the scene during an electric dance music (EDM) show featuring Swedish disc jockey Avicii at the TD Garden in Boston.

Joan Lunden Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Former "Good Morning America" co-host Joan Lunden is sharing some difficult personal news. The 63-year-old broadcast vet returned to her former morning show home Tuesday to reveal she's been diagnosed with breast cancer during an interview with current "GMA" co-host and cancer survivor Robin Roberts.
