Jim Phillips

WBSM News Director Jim Phillips is a New Bedford native who's been covering local news in the region since 1973. Jim worked at WBSM for 11 years in the 1970's and 80's before joining "Local Cable News," Channel 13 in Fall River. He served as News Director there for 22 years, coverng crime, politics and human interest stories. When the program ended in 2006, Jim happily accepted an offer to rejoin WBSM. Jim and his family live in North Dartmouth.

Bank Foundation Awards Grants To SouthCoast Schools, Non-Profits

Two schools and five area non-profit agencies are receiving money from the Charitable Foundation of Bristol County Savings Bank.
