A 15-year-old Attleboro boy accused of attacking his 63-year-old neighbor will remain in custody after a dangerousness hearing in Fall River Juvenile Court.

Brandon Bonin was ordered to a state youth facility Tuesday. His attorney requested that Bonin be released in his aunt's custody.

Bonin was indicted on charges including home invasion, kidnapping and attempted murder. He'll be tried as an adult.

Bonin is accused of breaking into Paula McMurrough's house March 6. Police said he kicked and stabbed McMurrough, tied her up and drove to a pond where he pushed her in the water. Police said Bonin then pulled her out, and drove her to a new location where she got control of the car and went for help.

Police said Bonin did yard work for McMurrough last year.
