Attleboro Police Investigate Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting Sunday night inside an Attleboro home.

An unidentified man was shot just before 11PM at 44 Smith Street, near the Norton line. According to the Attleboro Sun Chronicle, a woman was giving the victim first aid before he was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. His condition is unknown. Attleboro Police seized the house because they believed there were illegal drugs on the property. A couple of dogs were removed from the home to allow police to conduct their investigation. Police are looking for 2 black men they believe are connected to the shooting, who may have fled the scene in a four door sedan.
