Artist’s Sketch of Wareham Police Imposter Released
Wareham Police have released an artist's rendition of the suspect who tried to pass himself off as a police officer.
The incident took place over the weekend, with the suspect pulling over a young woman, pretending to be a police officer, and assaulting the woman before she drove off and called police.
The man is described as a white male, about 40 years old, 5'8" tall, and weighing about 200 lbs. He reportedly has short, dark hair and a pronounced Adam's apple.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
