Around Town with Phil: Becoming a Medical Cannabis Patient

'Around Town with Phil' is reminding you that if you've been interested in finding out how to get a medical cannabis patient card, there's going to be an informational session to discuss the benefits, and how to become a medical cannabis patient in the Massachusetts program.

It will take place at the Waypoint Event Center at the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites, 185 MacArthur Drive in New Bedford from 11 a.m. to noon on Sunday, June 24.

This event, hosted by MedWell Health & Wellness Centers, will provide an opportunity to learn, socialize, network and ask questions to industry professionals. If you'd like to be evaluated for this service, show up an hour earlier at 10 a.m., and a fee does apply.

A presentation discussing all things about medical cannabis will include cannabis consumption methods such as: inhale, ingest, topical, sublingual and more. Safer options for pain management will also be addressed.
