Many Americans say there's someone in their household who tends to take up all the storage space on their shared DVRs.

In a survey conducted by Verizon, 54% share a TV set with someone they woulod categorize as a "DVR Hog." Tension over what recorded shows to delete off the device seems to be creeping into relationships. Over 10% say their significant other is the one who monopolizes the DVR, and others blame their children or roommates for not being able to store their own selections.

A quarter of respondents confessed to being guilty of taking over the DVR in their home.
