Andrea McCoy Recreation Center Opens New Enrichment Center

The Andrea McCoy Recreation Center opened the doors of it's newest addition Saturday morning.

The West End rec center officially opened the new Enrichment Center during an open house presentation.

President of the New Bedford Parks, Recreation, & Beaches Department Mary Rapoza says the addition will address an important 21st century need in the community.

Along with a computer lab, the Enrichment Center will include a classroom, a kitchenette, and a conference room.

A number of classes will be held for all ages in the new addition and it will also be available for the public to rent out.
