When do we start to feel like adults? 18? 21? 30? Well Amy adams just turned 40 over the summer and admits that she has yet to feel like a grown up. "I still care what people think of me.' I still don't do laundry so I'm always out of things; I'm just not a grown-up at all, and I had this expectation that I would be by this age." Of course, we've agreed that Pete still has the mindset of a 12 year old boy sometimes, so maybe 53 isn't "adulthood" either.

At 22, I sometimes feel like I need to have everything figured out. I used to be a big fan of "The Timeline." You know, that list of things you want to accomplish at every age. Well, I'm learning that sometimes things don't go as planned and that it will be okay. So I'm glad Ms. Adams still has some growing up to do. Because it assures me that not having everything figured out at 22 isn't the end of the world.
