American Sniper Trial Now In Hands Of The Jury
The fate of the man charged with killing “American Sniper” Chris Kyle is in the hands of the jury.
Closing arguments wrapped up today in a Texas courtroom with prosecutors telling jurors Eddie Ray Routh committed a “cold, calculated capital murder” when he shot and killed Kyle and friend Chad Littlefield at a gun range in 2013.
Defense lawyers argued Routh, a former U.S. Marine, is a paranoid schizophrenic and should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.
If convicted, Routh could face life in prison without parole. (Metro Networks Inc.)
