Labs are still top dogs. The American Kennel Club says the Labrador Retriever is the nation's most popular dog -- for the 22nd straight year.

That's according to the AKC top 10 list released yesterday. The German Shepherd still commands the number-two spot. The Golden Retriever noses out the Beagle for third. The AKC says some pint-sized pooches make the list, too.

The Beagle is now hounding fourth. Here's the rest of the top 10 pack: Bulldog, Yorkshire Terrier, Boxer, Poodle, Rottweiler and Dachshund.
