There had been a lot of speculation, so far this off season, about whether or not wide receiver Danny Amendola might be cut by the New England Patriots in a salary dump situation.

Those questions have seemingly been answered, today, as the team and player have reportedly restructured his contract to keep him in New England for two more years.

 In three seasons with the Patriots,
Amendola has caught 146 passes for 1,481 yards and six touchdowns. He has also emerged as on of quarterback Tom Brady's top options in the slot.
