Ambulance Involved In Early Morning Crash

New Bedford Police are investigating after a single vehicle crash involving an ambulance.

Captain Joseph Cordeiro says that shortly before 6 a.m. Monday a Brewster Ambulance was driving along County St. when the driver heard a pop and lost control of the vehicle.

The ambulance struck a light fixture and a fence, causing some property damage.

No injuries were reported.
