Amanda Knox says "for all intents and purposes" she was a murderer in the eyes of the public whether she was or not.

In an exclusive interview with "ABC News'" Diane Sawyer set to air Tuesday night, Knox said those who called her a "she devil with an angel face" and a "heartless manipulator" were wrong. She was accused of killing her roommate overseas.

Knox said in the interview she would "like to be reconsidered as a person," adding that what happened to her "was surreal but it could have happened to anyone."
